Cold Snap Shenanigans

These three just crack me up.....

Sylvie, Marion and Helen

How many goats can fit a nose in one dish?
Fewer than they think, for sure.

 Fritha imitating Marion and Daisy,
all working the two legged stance.

The blur is Rose. Kids are often blurs.

Might want to click on these pictures for a larger view....

Anemone just eats through it all....

Ramp Conniptions and Calmness

Galbraith has made so much progress, but he still has his nervous habits, including major indecision about whether or not he is brave enough to approach, even if it is me he is considering approaching. I get a lot of back of my leg nose bops.

It might be ok..........

No! No. It's not!
Come-no-closer-or-maybe-do-no-don't-or-do-or-no-don't!

And then this shocker-
he was both still and relaxed, even for picture taking,
in some place other than his chair.
And even in the chair he isn't still.
The discovery of warm sunny days can do that to you, I suppose.
Plus he was next to Fritha's dish and one from the goats.
Solid real estate right there, yall.
Solid.

Even got some tail-wagging in.
Ok, technically he was the whole time, but you can see it here.

and only a few suspicious looks.....
really, Galbraith, from your photos no one would ever know
how you concentrate your day around dancing for my attention.

Happy Valentine's Day

I might make apple clafoutis later, just depends. I mean Dad is visiting, and it is nice to make something for guests. But had a bit of asthma trouble this morning, so have to see.

Because I can only go so long without sharing another sunrise set.
These are in order, the color went from hot pink to deep gold, to a subtle blend.

Pileated Woodpecker,
always fun to see.

Sibling love,

Momma love,

......Exasperated love.
This was the only of who knows how many in which Galbraith was remotely still.
Gwen's patience is amazing.

The Times

It was supposed to be snowing today......

Daisy and Demi confer......

Gemini, with Rose behind

They get pretty excited playing together;
I think this was a conference to decide whether they should start another game-
or just nap.
Napping is very popular.

See what I mean?

Hellebore buds

Demi studiously ignoring Spearfighter One-
probably a good move.

Daisy "tasting the air"- or sticking her tongue out for the heck of it.
Also always a popular activity.

 Goat rush!
Plus roosters. Roosters are like that.

And the mouse nest in the piano.
Just a general word to the wise mouse, don't hold musical soirees at night-
or really anytime.
Pretty much guarantees your discovery.
