Jis a Tiny Bit of Winter

The day dawned....

Is that..... snow?!

 Hi Meg. I luff snow.
Snow snow snow!
Even little bits of snow.

Hello, Genesis. I get the feeling you are less impressed.

Also, not to knit-pick or anything, but you have a lot of clay on your nose.
Although it does have a rather decorative effect. Like war paint.

The forecast had no snow even as it was snowing.
It was a freak gift. Well sort of freak;
I mean technically the satellite did show some small precipitation pockets over here,
though unrecognized by person or computer as relevant- but still.
I prefer to think of it as a freak gift.

It was beautiful, but not to last.
Cue soft lonely music.....

Good Afternoon!
At least it was still pretty cold.

Galbraith's Advice to the Ever Nervous

When the only safe person EVER has left for a few hours
-and you are being watched by a "nice"
but really suspicious visitor you met just two days before-
the only logical way to cope is to find and hoard safe person's dirty laundry.
Sadly I was left with nothing but a sock and this pair of pants.
But I guarded them with my life.

Come no closer.
They are mine.

Happy New Year!

Big breakfast day, people!
Just so you can all be officially jealous of my orange spice vanilla french toast.
Plus honey. And tea. I was pretty happy.

And there was even a brief view of the sun this morning....

Merry Christmas!

Winter Solstice
(or nearish......)

Christmas Eve
(with thunder!)

Gwen says Merry Christmas!
From the very dirty mud tracked floor by the back doors-
this never ending rain has that effect-
but no point in mopping till the weather dries up for a bit.
Hence why I chose dark red tile.

Hibiscus Christmas Party!!
